THE plush surroundings of the Old Regent Ballroom was the venue for “Top of the Shops” award ceremony for Grays Shopping Centre.
The evening was a great chance for the shopping centre to pay tribute to the retailers at the popular centre.
Over 2000 votes were cast from members of the public, Facebook followers and centre staff.
The winners were:

REVO Customer Service Award: Ben Allison
Best Shopping Centre staff: Barry Alston
Best Value for Money: Farm Foods
Best Visual Merchandising: Warren James
Best Independent: Exit Shoes
Best Customer Service: Max Spiellmann
Best Small Retailer: Card Factory
Best Big Retailer: Wilkos
Best Restaurant/Cafe – Wimpy.

After the plentiful buffet and the awards ceremony the retailers were treated to DJ Luke Harrod spinning some classic 80’s tunes.
The guests also made good use of the Photo Booth provided by Luke Harrod again at “Totally Fab Entertainment”
Many guests dressed in fun 1980’s clothing and enjoyed the night together with colleagues.
The evening was a resounding success and they are looking to make it an annual event.
