FIRE Crews were called to Dock Road, Grays, last night (Monday 15 May) after reports of a trailer alight.

On arrival firefighters reported that the trailer, which measured around 3 metres by 5 metres, contained bales of hay and was 100% alight.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire by 11.20pm.

The cause of the fire has been recorded as deliberate.
