The Royal Opera House Learning and Participation team at the High House Production Park are creating a long line of bunting to decorate the site for the forthcoming summer celebrations and they would like people across Thurrock to contribute pieces to make it a really fantastic display.
Using any fabric and decorated in any personal way: with just a word, pattern, poem or a picture perhaps, everyone is welcome to make one or several pieces of bunting which will be on show from 12 – 15 July at the High House Production Park as the Royal Opera House celebrates its tenth anniversary of working with communities across Thurrock.
The bunting could also reflect experiences of working, performing, visiting or learning with the Royal Opera House and High House Production Park. Any piece of bunting should be triangular and have the following dimensions: 21cm width x 31cm length.
Please send your bunting pieces to Bunting Challenge, ROH Learning and Participation,
The Vinery, High House Production Park, Vellacott Close, Purfleet RM19 1AF by Friday 23rd June either by post or in person.
The bunting will be displayed at the High House Production Park for everyone to enjoy from Wednesday 12 until Saturday 15 July. Everyone is welcome to visit the site to see the bunting and join in with the free BP Big Screen event on Friday 14 July at 7.30pm and the free Community Day on Saturday 15 July from 12noon – 4pm.
