THOUSANDS have paid tribute to Stanford-le-Hope man Quhey Saunders who was murdered at a service station off the M25 on Monday.
Quhey, in his short live, appears to have touched thousands of lives and made a deep and lasting impression on not only his family but a vast circle of friends.
Social media has been inundated with comments, tributes and outpouring of emotions.
Tilbury councillor and family friend Clare Baldwin said: “Taken away too soon Quhey. A lovely young boy with so much to live for.
“My thoughts are with Tony, Noreen and all his family at this difficult time.”
Johnny said: “Another life taken way to young. RIP cuz, may God give you a happy bed in heaven 💔 Quhey Saunders 💔”.
CJ said: “R.I.P to the one and only Quhey Saunders🙏🏽 Will never be forgotten. Such a wicked world. He had his whole life ahead of him. 20 years old 💔🙏🏽💙”
Measha said: “We realise how much we take for granted when something tragic like this happens. Treasure everyday, R.I.P Quhey Saunders💔💔 ”
Some people left touching video montages on youtube which depicted a handsome, charming, fit young man so full of energy.
But perhaps the most touching tribute of all was made by Quhey’s brother Luke. It appears that Quhey’s heart was donated to a desperately ill young man. Luke, family and friends stood outside the hospital as the helicopter flew away
Let Luke put in his own words.
“Our Quhey, my baby brother, you stole the show again. Centre of attention as always. He has donated his heart to a young man that had no more then a couple of days to live and needed a transplant desperately.
Luke said: “You got one last flight brother and went out in style. Your legacy will live forever. My king a legend never dies.”
