TILBURY suffered a heavy defeat against Romford at Ship Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Goals by Jonathon Nzengo (15′ and 70), Ben Clarke (55′) and Chris Taylor (84′) secured all three points for a lively Boro.
Tilbury’s single reply came from Luke Hornsley (44′).
The result leaves Tilbury in eighteenth place whilst Romford go up to eleventh place.
Tilbury return to action on Bank Holiday Monday at home to Brentwood Town.
Romford are away at league leaders AFC Hornchurch.
