THURROCK were beaten out of sight by league leaders Billericay Town at Ship Lane on Bank Holiday Monday.

Goals by Adam Cunnington (3′ and 49′), Jake Robinson (15′ and 23) and Billy Bricknell (65′) cemented the local rivals’ position at the top of the league in first of a crowd of 523.

The result leaves Thurrock in eighteenth place.

They return to action in the FA Cup on Saturday at home against Harlow Town.
