The WPO have been hard at work creating wonderful new classical music events for you.
Composers of the Great War – Supported by Hertitage Lottery Fund
The WPO are proud to announce that due to lottery funding this project is now up and running in Thurrock. Over the coming months Thurrock volunteers will research three major war composers and their lives. This will be followed by WPO’s first recording session of the music and finally a free performance event in the heart of Thurrock.
How can you be a part of this? There are many ways. Fancy a trip across the country to dig up our rich heritage? Maybe you would like to bring your vision to the project or raise awareness.
They are always looking for local volunteers as it is the Thurrock community that drives our orchestra.
