Massive cruise liner arrives at Tilbury cruise terminal

THE giant Mein Schiff 3 cruise liner sailed into the London Cruise Terminal in Tilbury on Tuesday morning (12 Sept) as part of a seven-night European cruise. The 293 metre ship, owned by TUI Cruises, is the largest cruise liner that the terminal has welcomed with an incredible 2700 passengers disembarking for sight-seeing trips around London and the local area. ” (Images courtesy of the Port of London Authority (PLA)).

Features of the Mein Schiff 3 cruise liner:

· One of the main highlights of the vessel, is a diamond-shaped glass exterior at the stern over two decks covering an area of approximately 167m².

· The ship features an entertainment zone, and other restaurants, bars and lounges. It also has aboard, the world’s first chamber music philharmonic at sea, the Klanghaus, which is a 270m² room with a seating capacity for 300 guests.

· Additional facilities onboard include an indoor pool with hot tub, a children’s nursery and a hospital.
