NON LEAGUE DAY – 7 OCTOBER 2017
THERE are no Premier League or Championship games this weekend, so come and support your local football club.
A spokesperson for Grays Athletic said: “We are playing Norwich United in the FA Trophy Preliminary Round – a cup that we have won twice.
“Joining us on the day will be our Under 10’s who will be training on the pitch before the game (1-1.45pm) before walking out as mascots for the first team.
We will also welcome the Essex Comets and teams from two local schools, Deneholm Primary and Stifford Clays Primary, who will be taking part in a penalty shoot out at half time.
Come and cheer them on…..
“We will also be showing our support for Prostate Cancer on the day.
“This will be the first time that the club has hosted a Non League day event so bring your friends and family and along and experience Non League football with The Blues
Parkside Stadium, Aveley.”
