NATIONAL INTER-COUNTY TEAM COMPETITION SHEFFIELD 2017
HARRISON Jarvis, from Thurrock Swimming Club, travelled to Sheffield for this year’s National Inter-County Team Competition to represent Essex. The competition welcomes individuals from all of the counties across England to compete head to head, with individual races swum over 100m and team relays. The competition is split into two divisions, with Essex competing in division one.
After a long journey up to Sheffield, Harrison swam just outside of his personal best time in the 100m-breaststroke event, finishing in 13th place. His impressive swim helped Essex rise to 12th place overall within England, which is their highest position for many years.
