Met Police 3 v 1 Thurrock
THURROCK’S woes continued with a 3-1 defeat to Metropolitan Police on Saturday afternoon.
Goals by Gavin James (20′ and 48′) and Lloyd Macklin (22′) secured all three points for the Met.
Thurrock’s sole résponse was an own goal by Lloyd Macklin (og 68′).
The result leaves Thurrock fourth from bottom in what is become quite a dogfight at the bottom.
They return to league action on Tuesday night away at Folkestone Herald.
