AVELEY’S new management team went down to their first defeat at the Len Salmon Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
To be fair, Bowers are playing very well and this was underlined by goals by Tony Stokes (45′) and David Knight (90′).
The result leaves Aveley fifth from bottom of the league.
They return to league action on Tuesday away against Barking.
