YEAR 3 pupils from Herringham Primary Academy recently had a fun interactive day, dressing and acting as Romans.
They learned many valuable facts about the Romans through a combination of role-play, practical activities and hands-on experience with facsimile artefacts.
Year 3 teacher, Mr Chris Thirkell, said: “We really enjoyed our Roman day and the pupils had a great time with the role-play, by thoroughly immersing themselves in the tasks given.
“They even enjoyed a banquet of red wine (blackcurrant squash!), bread, cheese and fruit. A mighty fine feast indeed!”
