From Essex Police: “Traffic was held on the Dartford River Crossing for a short time whilst officers dealt with an assault on the top of the crossing. One male arrested. Any witnesses or dashcam footage please call 101. Crossing has reopened.

Firefighters assisted at the scene of a road traffic collision this afternoon.
On arrival, fire crews reported that two people were trapped, following a collision involving two vehicles.
By 3.27pm, both casualties had been freed and were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
1600 hrs
Firefighters were called to the scene of a car fire on the A13 this afternoon.
On arrival, fire crews reported that a car was alight near the roundabout of junction 30, which connects the A13 to the M25.
The fire was extinguished by 1.51pm and the scene was left in the hands of the Police and Highways Officers to manage lane closures.

Stanford-le-hope – Southend Road is BLOCKED in both directions between Nursery Road and Balmoral Avenue following a two vehicle accident.

A13 partially blocked due to car fire at M25 J30 Lakeside / Tilbury.
On the roundabout, two lanes closed.

Essex Police: “We’re working with HighwaysSEAST on West Thurrock Way, Grays after a lorry flytipped a load of bricks in the road.
We’ve been able to move some of the bricks from the road but lane one’s closed.
