A MAN has been fined over £500 for being in charge of a dog when it was dangerously out of control.
Martin Greetham, aged 72, of Freemans Court, Stanford-le-Hope pled guilty at Basildon magistrates court to the following.
On 03/06/2017 at Stanford-Le-Hope were in charge of a dog, namely a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Jake, which was dangerously out of control in the pathway of the Manorway, Stanford-Le-Hope.
An order was made that the dog, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Jake be destroyed unless an appeal is lodged within the next 21 days. To be carried out through Essex Police
Reason: Owner is unable to care for the dog further, there is no other person to care for the dog which was seriously out of control and a danger.
He was also fined £520.00
