EAST Thurrock’s Wembley dreams went crashing to earth with a 5-2 defeat against Spennymoor Town.
Golas by Andrew Johnson (35′, 59′ and 62′) plus Glen Taylor (45′) and Kallum Griffiths (49′) secured a passage into the Quarter Finals for the team from the North-East.
East Thurrock United scored through Montel Agyemang (5′) and Lewis Smith (51′ pen)
The Rocks return to league action on Saturday at home against Eastbourne Borough.
