IT may be the last ever season for Thurrock but they are going out fighting as this 5-2 victory against bottom side Burgess Hill Town proved.

Goals by Reece Morgan (31′), Lewwis Spence (45′), Ronnie Winn (66′) and Charlie Stimson (68′ and 87′) secured all three points.

Burgess Hill Town’s goals were by Connor Tighe (54′) and Ibrahim Forfana (72′).

The result leaves Thurrock in thirteenth place on 43 points.

The Fleet return to action on Saturday at home against Tooting and Mitcham.
