Good times at Thurrock’s Great Little Theatre
THE scent of chocolate is in the air and the daffodils are blooming so Easter cannot be far away! With two weeks to entertain the kids and because the snow may be on its way back, the Thameside Theatre has some eggsallent Easter treats on offer.
For younger audience members aged three and above, on Tuesday 3 April, the funny tale of a little dog with a very big dream Dogs Don’t Do Ballet will be entertaining young and old alike. Tickets are just £8.50.
Saturday 7 April sees the ever popular Disney classic movie with a twist: Sing-a-long Beauty and the Beast. Tickets are £6 plus there’s free popcorn for kids
Follow Dorothy along the yellow brick road on Thursday 12 April when the perennial family favourite The Wizard of Oz take to the stage. Tickets £17, and concessions £15.
An extra, final treat is a free Easter egg hunt for all children attending the performances of Dogs Don’t Do Ballet, Sing-a-long Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz. Just stay after the show and find out where the Thameside Easter Bunny has hidden the eggs.
Put the kids to bed full of chocolate and head out for some great grown up entertain on Friday 13 April when Talon: The Acoustic Collection offer up some contemporary acoustic classics. Tickets £21
