THURROCK music group, Quest Music Services, and community fundraising project, Giving for Thurrock, are inviting locals to come along to their fundraising charity disco at The Civic Hall on May 4th. All ages will be welcome to join in and boogie through a selection of music spanning six decades.
The night will also introduce Grays Thurrock’s number one Delta Blues Man, Paul Woodley, who will be performing an exclusive set on the night including playing the drums, guitar and singing in the classic Delta Blues genre.
Paul’s performance will guarantee to have everyone on their feet and grooving along.
Proceeds from the night will be generously donated on behalf of Quest Music Services to Giving for Thurrock, otherwise known as GiFT, which aims to raise funds to help support small community groups and organisations within Thurrock working in a range of social and supportive services in the area.
Dorion Quest explained why Quest Music Services chose to hold this event on behalf of Giving for Thurrock. He said; “Quest Music Services chose to be involved with the event because we are passionate about our home Thurrock. We feel that volunteers are the life blood of many things, especially our area of arts and music. We think the idea of a disco event that local people can enjoy is fantastic. We urge everybody to come and support the entire project by dancing, drinking and having fun.”
Doors will open at 7.30pm
