Letter to Editor: Grays Riverside councillor thanks residents

Martin Kerin

Dear Editor,

I am writing to thank the people of Grays Riverside for re-electing me for a second term – it is an immense honour to be trusted with another four years. I look forward to continuing to work hard for them to represent them with passion on Thurrock Council

I wish, also, to thank the many friends, relatives and comrades who helped me during the campaign to be re-elected – they know who they are, and they know how grateful I am.

My only public acknowledgement will be for three people: Cllr Jane Pothecary, Cllr Tony Fish, and my wife, Natalie. The three of them have been a collective rock for me – my most enthusiastic encouragers and my most loyal critical-friends.

As I embark on another four years, I will continue in the same vein as my previous term: mindful, always, of the fact that my residents have sent me to Thurrock Council to serve them. I will work to build a cleaner, safer, fairer Grays.

Yours faithfully,

Cllr Martin Kerin
Grays Riverside
