St Luke’s Hospice bring hope in new course

ST Luke’s Hospice still have a few places left on their next ‘HOPE’ course starting on Tuesday 19th June.

This ‘free to attend course’ is for people who have finished their cancer treatment and now feel a need to get back in control of their life.

Undergoing treatment for cancer opens a ‘roller coaster’ of emotions. The HOPE course is aimed at helping people focus on life after treatment has finished; offering practical ways to help take control of health and wellbeing, including ways to manage stress and emotional difficulties associated with cancer. It can also help find new ways to regain confidence and get more out of life, as well as accessing other support helping to recognise your own potential:

Starting on Tuesday 19th June 10.30am to 1pm, and taking place at St. Luke’s House 22 Lampits Hill Corringham, SS17 9AL – the course runs for 6 weeks meeting every Tuesday at the same time.
Advanced booking is essential as this is a popular course and places are limited. Spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
