Learn for good health at TACC!
RESEARCH shows that learning new skills can be more than useful, it can also improve our mental wellbeing. As well as a new Learning for Wellbeing programme and complimentary therapies such as meditation, reflexology, sleep management, yoga and mindfulness, Thurrock Adult Community College offers a range of skills courses that will benefit you by influencing your overall health.
The NHS reports that “people who carry on learning after childhood report higher wellbeing and a greater ability to cope with stress. They also report more feelings of self-esteem, hope and purpose”.
