Tilbury man charged for breaching Community Protection Notice

A MAN from Tilbury has been charged with breaching a community protection notice.

Robert Kennedy, aged 54, of Gainsborough Avenue, Tilbury has been charged with the following.

On 16/05/2018 at Tilbury being an individual to whom a community protection notice had been issued, failed to comply with the notice in that between 09:00 and 09:15 hours had thrown an object, namely fish guts, into 45 Gainsborough Avenue and approx 18:30 hours taken photos of residential properties within Gainsborough Avenue and made an inappropriate hand gestures towards residents.

This breached Condition #1 on the Community Protection Notice to not cause any persons within Tilbury any form of harassment, alarm and/or distress, including abusive words and/or gestures and/or written consent. This includes any person residing and/or passing through Gainsborough Avenue, Tilbury.


  1. Oh my God, I can’t believe crime in Thurrock has escalated to throwing fish guts. How will we cope with such a heinous crime.
