‘Flipped classroom’ learning at TACC
On 5 July 2018, Thurrock Adult Community College held their annual tutor conference with a theme of ‘Being Brilliant’ including a flipped classroom model, where tutors took part in collaborative peer to peer learning to deepen their understanding and ensure they continue to deliver a provision with the highest standards of learning to meet the needs of the people of Thurrock.
TACC’s vision is to provide adult education where people have an opportunity to learn, grow and shape their future. Their mission is to make a positive difference to local people and their communities by creating a safe and welcoming environment, providing quality lifelong learning and skills.
