THE Olympic Rings in Thurrock have been restored to their former glory.
Last week, YT reported that the special floral design, installed on Blackshots in 2009 to symbolise Thurrock’s commitment to the Olympics in 2012, had been left in a terrible state by Thurrock Council.
Our discovery also came after Thurrock Council came under fire from a number of councillors who felt that sports groups were being neglected in Thurrock.
So it is good to report that they have been cleaned up.
