Litter Pick on River Foreshore below QE2 Bridge
FOLLOWING a very successful litter pick at Tilbury last month, the Grays Beachcombers are holding another event, this time below the QE2 Bridge on Friday 13th July.
They will be meeting at the old St Clements Church, West Thurrock RM20 4AL at 10:30 and plan to finish by 13:30.
All equipment will be provided, just ensure you wear sturdy shoes or boots as they will be walking a total of about three miles along the river foreshore.
A spokesperson said: “We will be picking up the last of the rubbish thrown up by Storm Eleanor in January. Previously we have cleared all the other rubbish thrown up by the storm along the stretch of estuary from Rainham to Tilbury”.
