LOCAL artist Jane Lock has recently graduated from the new School for Social Entrepreneurs at the Thurrock Community College and is looking to see how she can best use her skills within her local community – Her main aim is to spread Positivity Through Creativity.
She has been inspired to give free creative taster sessions and start some new creative courses in Thurrock. Her aim is to get older people out of their homes and reconnecting again – Not only reconnecting with people but also reconnecting with them selves and their creative abilities. “Creating art relieves stress, encourages creative thinking, increases brain plasticity, and provides many other mental health benefits. And anyone can do it.”
This exciting new Creative Art class has been especially designed for all levesl of artistic skills or abilities. If you are a beginners it will help you get started and if you have created art before, this will encourage you to try new things.
