AVELEY had a superb start to the season with an outstanding 6-0 win against Dereham at Parkside.
Goals by Harry Gibbs (16′), George Doyle (34′), Freddie Gard (57′), Alex Akrofi (61′), Andy Freeman (64′) and Tom Richardson (68′ pen) secured all three points.
The result puts Aveley at the top of the league.
They return to league action on Bank Holiday Monday at home against Grays Athletic.
