TILBURY had a disastrous start to the season with a 4-0 defeat at home by much-fancied AFC Sudbury.
Goals by Billy Holland (40′), Phil Kelly (55′), Callum Harrison (60′) and Darryl Coakley (80′) secured all three points for the Suffolk side.
The result leaves Tilbury second from bottom after just one game.
They return to league action on Saturday away at Soham Town Rangers.
