CORRINGHAM-based Romford went to the top of the league after a 2-1 win against Tilbury at Rookery Hill on Tuesday night.
Goals by Roddy Lemba (3′) and Max Bolton (54′ pen) secured all three points and top spot for the Boro’.
Tilbury replied through Siju Odelusi (60′).
The result leaves Tilbury second from bottom on a single point. They return to league action on Saturday at home against Basildon United.
Romford are away to bottom side Barking.
