Bluebird Care serves up free refreshments for Thurrock and Castle Point residents
OLDER people and their families living in Thurrock and Castle Point, Essex, were invited along to the Richmond Hall in South Benfleet last Wednesday to enjoy some free coffee and cake.
The event was organised by Bluebird Care, an organisation that provides care and support to people living in their own homes – and was especially put together to say thank you to all their customers.
Alvin Osei-Tutu, Managing Director at Bluebird Care Thurrock & Castle Point, said:
“As an organisation at the heart of the community, we have a heart to host and support events that benefit local people.
Too often people, especially the elderly, feel isolated and lonely in their own homes – which is why it’s important to have events like this that people can attend.”
Bluebird Care is a local provider of care in the home. They specialise in working with customers who live with dementia, physical and learning disabilities, and work alongside their families, social services, GPs and Clinical Commissioning Groups to ensure each person receives the care they need.
Free coffee and cake, with a bit of light entertainment, were served throughout the event!
