A Grays organisation has received a welcome cash boost to help raise awareness of blood diseases affecting the black community in Thurrock.
Thurrock-based Anthonia Oyindamola Folakemi Afelumo-Coshare Foundation (AOFAC) has been given £9,975 of lottery funding for a project which will run seminars and presentations for the public and medical professionals on raising awareness of blood and auto immune diseases that especially affect the black and minority ethnic community.
