Swap Don’t Drop
SOUTH Essex College is holding a series of Swap Don’t Drop events for young people who are worried they have made the wrong course, college or sixth form choice.
Events are open for 16-18 year olds in the local area who feel they may have chosen the wrong option when enrolling to study further education this September.
The College has also set up a dedicated phone hotline so worried students and parents can call and speak to one of our Course Advisers for guidance about changing colleges and courses.
Abbie Tisdall, Course Advice and Customer Enquiries Team Co-ordinator, said: “Advisers will be on hand at the events and through the hotline to help students make an informed decision about their course options. We aim to have something for everyone here, so why not attend and come and talk about your options.”
The hotline number is 01268 461768/461645. Events will be held on the following dates: Mon 24 Sep, 12pm-2pm, Southend Campus Tue 25 Sep, 12pm-2pm, Thurrock Campus Wed 26 Sep, 9am-11am, Stephenson Road (Engineering and Construction only) Thu 27 Sep, 12pm-2pm, Basildon Campus Tue 2 Oct, 12pm-2pm, Basildon Campus Wed 3 Oct, 12pm-2pm , Southend Campus Thu 4 Oct, 12pm-2pm, Thurrock Campus Fri 5 Oct, 11am-1pm, Stephenson Road (Engineering and Construction only)
