THE MILLERS continued to press for promotion with an invaluable three points away at fellow contenders Bury Town.
Aveley scored through Andrew Freeman (65′) and Thomas Richardson (70′)
Bury replied through Jake Chambers Shaw (82′).
The result leaves Aveley in the play-off places, three points off the top with a game in hand.
They return to action next Saturday at home in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy against Beaconsfield Town.
