GRAYS parish church has been lit up as part of special commemorations for the centenary of the end of the Great War.
Canon Rev Darren Barlow said: We’ve added red filters to the external floodlights to mark the significance of this weekend.
“We’re also holding a special service at 6.30pm on Sunday evening called ‘Battles Over’ which will be followed by our church bells being rung.”
Grays parish church is just off the High Street.
