AVELEY went to the top of the league with an outstanding performance against Brentwood Town.
Goals by Alexander Akrofi (9′ pen and ’15) and a hat-trick by Tom Richardson (33,41,66) secured all three points and top berth.
Brentwood Town’s goalscorers were Charlee Hughes (31′), Zack Littlejohn (40′) and Ryan Mallett (57′).
They return to league action on Saturday away at Mildenhall Town.
