BATH CITY City moved into third – five points behind second-placed Woking and seven of leaders Torquay United – after a 1-0 win at Twerton Park against third-bottom East Thurrock United.

A crowd of 772 saw former Grays Athletic player Sean Rigg`s 54th minute effort prove decisive.

The result leaves East Thurrock in twentieth place, just four points from safety. They have sixteen games left.

They return to league action on Saturday at home to Dulwich Hamlet.
