AVELEY may well see it as two points dropped as they were held at home by Barking on Tuesday night.
Barking opened the scoring through Abs Seymour (7′) but Tom Richardson replied in the 24th minute.
The result leaves Aveley in third place, six points off the top spot.
They return to league action on Saturday away at Canvey Island.
