EAST Thurrock now look in serious relegation trouble after losing to Essex rivals, Chelmsford City on Saturday afternoon.
A single goal by Rhys Murphy (44′) was the difference between the two clubs.
The result leaves East Thurrock second from bottom of the league, six points from safety with twelve games to play.
They return to league action next Saturday at home against Hampton and Richmond Borough.
