Flip Out Lakeside announces thousands of free jump passes to Essex schools.
ACCORDING to NHS figures, 1 in 5 children and 1 in 4 adults are overweight or obese*.
The 30,000 sq ft trampoline park, which is due to open in Spring 2019, is based within the new multi-million pound leisure extension at intu Lakeside in Thurrock.
Flip Out Lakeside will allocate free session passes for schools to use as part of their extra curriculum activities.
Shaf Allyman, General Manager at Flip Out Lakeside said:
“Our aim is to ensure anyone of any age or ability can access our park. Combined with healthy eating, trampolining is a fun way to encourage exercise and ultimately live a healthier lifestyle. We aim to have some of the most advanced technology in the arena, so it’s not just trampolines that we have to offer. To name a few we have ninja assault courses, wipeout zones, a parkour area & climbing walls being installed. All of these activities encourage the entire family to get active in a fun and safe environment.
We are delighted to announce that schools in the Essex area are eligible to sign up for free jump sessions here at Flip Out Lakeside to be used as part of their physical education classes”
Howard Oldstein, regional centre director at intu Lakeside, said: “It’s important to support our local community and the offer of free passes to one of our new leisure operators, demonstrates our commitment to our customer catchment.”
As part of their ongoing commitment to reducing obesity in children, Flip Out Lakeside will be offering schools a discounted membership scheme.
