A GRAYS mother-of-two is hosting a family fun day for a very worthwhile cause. Ola Adegbenro is the Founder/CEO of Colourful Beginnings
Ola told YT: “I am a mum of two girls who were born prematurely and the founder of Colourful Beginnings. My first daughter was born three years ago at 23 weeks with no chance of surviving, but thank God she did. She spent nine months in five different hospitals before been discharged home with home oxygen, feeding tubes and numerous hospital appointments. My second daughter was born 13 months after at 29 weeks and also had her own share of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
My girls are the reasons why I started Colourful Beginnings, to bring hope, love and support to other families going through the NICU journey and beyond. It was an extremely hard times for my family and I, when my girls were born and I want to do my best, to make sure no one goes through what I went through and to let them know they are not alone.
I am organising a fundraising and family fun day event in Grays.
