GET To Know is a truly unique event for Thurrock residents. The last Wednesday of each month TIC Film holds an inclusive, welcoming event for Queers, Binaries and everyone else.
This drop in club is an opportunity to meet exciting guests and discover the intriguing work they are involved in, some of it local. It is the chance to make new friends as well as catch up with old friends. After guest presentations and screen clips, it will be the time to mingle and socialise.
“Darling of the London Stage” (The Royal Vauxhall Tavern) is an acclaimed London actor. He has worked in the West End, around the world, and extensively in LGBTQ Theatre. TV credits include EastEnders and Channel 4’s Humans. This year, Rich will debut his self-written one-man Disney parody show “Happily Ever Poofter”. Rich also works in HIV awareness and peer support, with Terrence Higgins Trust amongst others.
Arts practitioner, researcher and impact measurement specialist, with experience of programme design and delivery with and for people facing disadvantage. Grays + Me has been commissioned by Essex Cultural Diversity Project for her to explore intersections between the increasingly diverse local population of Grays and the ongoing regeneration of Thurrock.
