ANOTHER brilliant turn out at a windy and damp Grays Beach.
Twenty-four pickers managed to collect 26 sacks full of rubbish containing mainly small bits of plastic and included 96 single use plastic bottles.
Special thanks to the group from Railscape who turned up from Benfleet to lend a hand.
Saturday 23rd March– meeting at RSPB Rainham, New Tank Hill Road, Purfleet, RM19 1SZ at 10:30 to 12:30. This is a family friendly event suitable for accompanied children 6 years and older.
Sunday 7th April– meeting at Grays Yacht Club RM17 6JF at 10:30 to 12:00 followed by free refreshments in the café. This is the Grays Beachcombers regular monthly pick. This is a family friendly community event suitable for accompanied children 6 years and older.
Saturday 13th April– meeting at Concrete Barges, Coldharbour Lane, Rainham, RM13 9YQ at 10:30 to 13:30. This is a family friendly event suitable for accompanied children 6 years and older.
Saturday 27th April– meeting at Wharf Hotel car park, Wharf Road South, Grays RM17 5YX at 14:00 to 16:00. This is a family friendly event suitable for accompanied children 6 years and older.
Sunday 5th May– meeting at Grays Yacht Club RM17 6JF at 10:30 to 12:00 followed by free refreshments in the café. This is the Grays Beachcombers regular monthly pick. This is a family friendly community event suitable for accompanied children 6 years and older.
