INTU Lakeside is excited to announce that the bright lights of Hollywood will be shining at the centre’s brand-new leisure development this month.
The brand-new Hollywood Bowl will have 24-lanes including six VIP lanes with table service, an American-style Hollywood Diner, a stylish bar, and a fun-packed amusement area. As the first leisure attraction to open, Hollywood Bowl will attract families, friends and work colleagues all over the South East.
It will also be home to a Hollywood Diner with a full-size vintage pink Chevy car seating area, serving gourmet burgers, hot dogs, freshly made thick shakes – all served in retro milk bottles, and signature desserts.
Visitors will also be able to play in Hollywood Bowl’s famous amusements area, which will feature leading games such as Mario Kart, Crossy Road, Cruis’n Blast and retro games like Space Invaders and Pacman Hoops. To top it all off, there will an opportunity to ‘Play for Prizes’, where visitors can win tickets on their favourite games and exchange them for fun goodies.
Mark Johnson, Regional Manager for Hollywood Bowl intu Lakeside, said: “As one of the UK’s leading family leisure companies, we’re really excited to be opening a new centre at intu Lakeside, and we can’t wait to bring our bowling and all-round leisure experience to the people visiting intu Lakeside from late March.
“Whether it’s for family fun, kids’ or adults’ birthday parties, work functions, nights with dates or mates or simply an excuse to celebrate the weekend – you name it, our team has got it covered!”
Howard Oldstein, regional centre director at intu Lakeside, said: “This will be our first leisure tenant to open at our £72 million leisure development and we are extremely excited. As Essex’s biggest shopping destination, we know that Hollywood Bowl will be very popular here with our customers.”
“We are transforming the way we do retail and know that providing leisure experiences like Hollywood Bowl will provide an unparalleled experience for everyone across the South East.”
intu Lakeside will also open its doors to other leisure facilities including Nickelodeon Adventure family entertainment centre, Puttshack mini golf, Flip Out trampolining and a host of new restaurants including Zizzi and TGI Fridays. To accompany this, intu Lakeside will also welcome The Hall, a new food hall concept with indoor and outdoor seating for hundreds of people coupled with vibrant food and drinks pop-ups.
