TILBURY went down to a disappointing home defeat against fellow Essex rivals, Great Wakering on Saturday afternoon.

Goals by Firmin Ngandu (70′ pen), Shomari Barnwell (88′) and Billy Johnson (90′) secured all three points.

The result leaves Tilbury in twelfth place with six games left.

They return to league action next Saturday against Aveley.
