ESSEX Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision in North Hill, Horndon-on-the-Hill on Monday morning.

On arrival, crews reported a car had left the road and a woman was trapped in her car.

Crews worked to release the casualty by 9:13am and she was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
