Tilbury 5 v 3 Canvey Island
TILBURY re-inforced their promotion credentials with a vital three points against local rivals Canvey Island.
Goals by Brian Moses (19, 47′ and 52′), Ola Ogunwamide (40′) and David Knight (55′) secured all three points for the Dockers.
Canvey Island’s scorers were Jason Hallett (27′), Kane Gilbert (50′) and Sam Bantick (73′).
The result leaves Tilbury in ninth place, just two points off the play-off places.
They return to league action on Saturday away at Brentwood Town.
