ESSEX Firefighters helped to rescue woman yesterday after she’d fallen onto train tracks.
Crews were called to a train station in East Tilbury on Friday morning after reports that a woman had fallen onto the train tracks on a mobility scooter.
Control Room and the Ambulance Service worked with Network Rail to ensure all trains had been stopped and the electricity had been isolated.
Firefighters then worked with the Ambulance Service and British Transport Police to give first aid to the woman before moving her back onto the platform by 11:17am. She was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
