AVELEY let a two goal lead slip as they gained a single point away at Sudbury.
Aveley had opened the scoring through Alexander Akrofi (16′) and George Sykes (17′) but Sudbury came back with goals by Billy Holland (45′)
and Baris Altintop (52′)
Alexander Akrofi (65′) put Aveley back in the lead but Freddie King (83′) ensured the honours were even.
The result leaves Aveley in fourth place, seven points of the top.
They return to league action on Tuesday away at Coggeshall Town.
