AS the chief executive of intu, I want to let you know what we are doing to support and protect our staff, brands, visitors and communities during these ever-changing times.
Our priority is to keep people as safe as possible and to help reduce the rate at which the virus is spreading, minimising disruption as much as we can.
All our centres are now partially closed to help combat the spread of coronavirus. As they sit at the heart of their communities, they provide access to vital services such as pharmacies and supermarkets. We will ensure everyone can still access these stores by keeping parts of each centre open.
And for those centres which have a paid-for car park, we have removed these fees so that anyone who wishes to, can park for free. This will help those that need to pick up essential items and our valued key workers too.
We have a small and fantastic team on hand to make sure our centres remain clean and safe places to visit. What I would ask, is that you only visit our centres where you absolutely need to, and that when visiting you follow the social distancing guidelines for everyone’s safety. Please check the stores opening hours before you leave home and use the hand sanitisers in the centre. Remember, stay home, protect the NHS and help save lives.
We continue to closely monitor the rapidly changing situation and be led by the government’s advice. We will get through this together and I look forward to being able to open our doors again soon and welcoming you back.
Together, we can do this.
